BT-02
Our second café racer – The BT02, based on a Triumph Thruxton R.
The BT02 Thruxman combines the names of two iconic motorbikes: the Triumph Thruxton R, which served as the basis for this transformation, and the legendary Norton Manx, the inspiration for its unique design.
Few motorbikes evoke as much nostalgia as the iconic Norton Manx.
The idea behind the creation of this cafe racer was to create a contemporary custom motorbike, combining the timeless elegance of the Manx with the modern performance of the Thruxton R. According to Sacha Lakic, “The Norton Manx is the epitome of cafe racer design: light, elegant, slim, simple, pure and recognisable, with a unique sound. My favourite version: the 1959 model”.
Blacktrack’s Manx design combines classic and modern elements, with an aluminium tank, leather straps made by partner Ludo Gaag and a black leather saddle with subtle red edging. The cafe racer exhaust, side guards, inserts and clip-on handlebars complete the unique look.
The fuel tank
The design blends the classic lines of the original with modern elements to suit the customised bike. Blacktrack partner Ludo Gaag handcrafted the aluminium tank with a leather strap for an elegant touch.
Unique parts
Its unique components include side covers, top and bottom panels and clip-on grab rails. Each of these parts has been designed with meticulous attention to detail, paying homage to the Norton Manx.

finishing touches
Featuring discreet lighting, side-by-side gauges and a hand-crafted exhaust system, every element is carefully painted, polished or powder-coated, with touches of Blacktrack Red brought to the smallest details.
The sound of the BT-02
The sound of the BT02 is a melody for motorbike enthusiasts. Our aim was to capture the spirit of the original Norton model with a carefully designed sound system, evoking the power and timeless charm of vintage motorbikes.
The seat
The BT02’s seat is a masterpiece, truly unique in the spirit of the Norton Manx. Covered in high-quality black leather, it has a small red border as a finishing touch, adding a touch of refinement to the whole.
